Happy Groundhog Day!

This week we have continued our theme of Mother Goose Rhymes. The kids are doing so well with rhyming words. We have read books such as Dust Bunnies, Llama Llama Red Pajama and many others. On Wednesday we talked about the nursery rhyme Do you know the Muffin man. We had a muffin taste test to see which was our favorite. Chocolate chip was the winner.

We made a bar graph of our results. We also made predictions on whether Phil would see his shadow. We made our predictions on Wednesday and watched the video to see if our prediction was correct. The kids really enjoyed watching Punxsutawney Phil. Most of the class thought he would see his shadow. This also helped us to learn about graphs. We are looking forward to Grandparents day tomorrow and hope to have lots of pictures to share.
